Tracie Dunne

Tracie Dunne is the Owner and Principal of the Beaumont School of Interior Design and Decorating.

Tracie is a qualified and award-winning Interior Designer with over twenty-four years experience both in Australia and Canada. She cut her teeth in the world of corporate design before turning her hand to establishing her own Interior Design Company in early 1994. In 1999 Tracie added to her already extensive portfolio by purchasing the Beaumont School of Interior Decorating and Design.

Tracie is experienced in all stages of Residential Work, Corporate Tenancy Fitouts, Retail, as well as specialising in Health and Aged Care work. Tracie handles a large number of projects of varying sizes from inception through to practical completion. She has an extensive knowledge of products; finishes and fixtures that ensure her clients receive an intelligent level of designing. Also, Tracie has extensive experience in furniture design, detailing and documentation.

As a Senior Interior Designer, Tracie has over the years been published in magazines and presented many papers to seminars on the "Psychology of Colour" and "Interior Designing for Dementia & Health Care Environments", both in Australia and New Zealand.

Tracie has also lectured part-time at the Queensland University of Technology – Bachelor of Built Environment in Interior Design.

Tracie is very committed to the art and science of design and has a wealth of experience in the profession, which she brings to her classes.


Nicola Duncan

With 20 years of training experience in the corporate leadership sector, Nicola brings a lifelong passion for people and learning to our team.

Her thirst for learning and a desire to further develop her creative side brought her to the Beaumont School thus making the transition to a qualified Interior Design Decorator.

Having established her own fabric design and styling business and combining this with her teaching skills makes Nicola a valuable asset to our design school.


Christine Thompson

As our Enrolment Officer, Christine has been looking after our students for many years.

Christine’s friendly smile and caring attitude is what greets all our students and visitors and is the first point of contact for our correspondence students.

Christine herself having combined study, work and home commitments is aware of the delicate balance it takes to achieve what is needed for students to complete our courses and is always there to lend a helping hand.
